Do most carpet cleaning companies use the customer’s water source or do they bring their own?

Fe asked: I asked different companies and found the price varied from $49 to $150. I am so confused. One company said that steam cleaning didn’t include the chemical liquid and only deep cleaning did. I have no idea about what a normal carpet cleaning process. I don’t want to be rip off.angebr
