You can give your rental company a written 30 day notice to quit. If in those 30 days, they find a renter, (which, if they know what the hell they’re doing, they will!) you will only be responsible for 1 months rent.

great fix you have got into. might as will stay until the lease runs out and pay regularly as per agreement

I think you’re screwed.
You could have a legal case, against the couple who signed the papers to sub-let. See a lawyer.
