I also have brown, microfiber couches. I posted this same question on another site. and more than one person said to remove the cuchion covers and wash them in the washing machine and then place back on the cushion wet so they can air dry. I was hesistant at first. But it worked! and no harm to my couches.
Perhaps an enzyme pet-stain remover? That is what I would try. Pet stain removing formulas are generally for all surface, just an idea, get a second opinion.
There are different types of microfiber that do not get clean, and feel sort of rough after a while – like the armrests on the recliner I have. I think that the material just may not be cleanable. Sorry for your problem.
yo take a vacuum cleaner and hook on the small thing and **** up anything on it that you cant see then take a microfiber hand towel and wipe it over it. then take a dampened wash cloth and wipe it over the couch then let it air dry. i have 3 of those couches and 4 children.

Try using a dry scrub brush to get up stains.
